Art Station opens its doors
Visakhapatnam: Vizag has another art gallery “Art Station” which has opened its doors to art lovers not only from the city but from all over the world. With only a handful of galleries in the city, Jaya Narasimha Rao says, âUnlike other galleries in the city, we want to fill the void by showcasing artwork from individuals or groups at Art Station throughout the year. ‘year. We would like to showcase the work of artists from all over the world. In addition to the paintings, we also exhibited sculptures, photographs and anything that was creative. Through our gallery, we want to make known the work of each artist.
With its inauguration, Art Station also hosted its very first exhibition.
âAs this is our first exhibition, we wanted to present the artists from Vizag. We exhibited the works of KVS Prasad, GS Vasu, KS Kamesh and Uma. V. The exhibition will be open to the public from November 15 to 22 and the works are also on sale, âadds Jaya.
KS Kamesh, one of the artists, whose work has been exhibited at the exhibition, says: âAt the moment there are very fewer galleries in Vizag. Many artists are disappointed with the lack of options for presenting their work. But, I am sure that with the opening of this gallery, more artists will be discovered in the city. And for artists like us, who have always exhibited our work in one or two galleries before, it was so monotonous. Now, I hope that with this gallery, not only will our works be presented, but we will also increase our circle of art lovers.
Artists from the city and the surrounding area hope that the gallery will open more opportunities to show their talent.
